They were having a show called Lost But Found, an exhibit of found objects incorporated into pieces by artists such as :Nevelson, DuChamp, Rauschenberg, et. al. Upon seeing the Hygrometer beautifully encased in smoked plexiglass, I made a label with my name and info for the piece and a statement claiming the work as one of my own. On the next visit I posted it on the wall and then had to skedaddle as the guard noticed something amiss. My daughter and I just barely made it to the car before the two walkie-talkied guards could spot us. Even though I put an email address on the piece and a phone number...alas there has been no call.
