Lamposts in Love

Darius

The Wooster Collective has a great podcast featuring Darius Jones, one of the great New York streetartists. He's been doing a series of pieces featuring lamp-posts and street lights leaning in to kiss each other- and apparently he has just installed a new one somewhere in North Brooklyn- write in if you spot it!

Darius' work reminds us of two classic shots featured in the Bluejake Love series: cones in love (by Jason Kottke) and newspaper boxes in love (by Mike Epstein).

i like the idea, but they look more like "streesigns hit by a bus" than "in love"

although sometimes being in love does feel like being hit by a bus i guess...
