"s.d." - how about a "pro-despot rally" or "pro-insurgency pep squad" then. That sounds more postitive than the tired "anti-war rally" label. I think they should update their marketing strategy.

"Bob", since the "war was over a year ago", what do you call what is happening now? The "Insurgency"? What ever it is Labeled, these people (me included) aren't terribly thrilled at the "Situation" in Iraq or the "Mistakes" made by GW's Administration that led us there. At least they have the conviction to protest it. In any case, I prefer peacefull protests like this over violent ones.

Considering the war was over a year ago it seems that these doofusses are a bit late with the 'anti-war protests.' They should just send an application to 'american idol' like other people desperate for attention. Maybe there should be a 'protester idol' show on TV. The contestants could come on one at a time and shriek incoherently. They would also be judged on whether they had an adequate retro 60's style costume. I think this would bolster their self esteem, they would have a wider audience and the traffic would run smoothly so everyone is happy.
