The Reverse New Yorker Cover

After yesterday's post about the inflammmatory-to-Brooklynites New Yorker cover, reader Hamilton sent Gothamist a different rendering of Marcellus Hall's cover. He writes, "For all of us who feel banished every morning when we have to hoof it in to Manhattan for work, and feel barred from Eden by MTA disruptions." Thanks, Hamilton! Gothamist loved our readers' comments - if there's any lesson to all of this, it's hell hath no fury like a borough scorned!

In other news, the truly "forgotten" borough, Staten Island, might get its fourth police precinct. Yup - fourth.

Marcellus Hall owes Barry Kite some props, yo! Kite did practically the same thing a decade ago. Check it!

hahaha. pathetic. Way to stick it to New Yorker. I wish I were banished to manhattan. It's like being banished to Posh 5th avenue with buxom blondes all over the streets. yeah it's a huge punishment. I'm sure manhattanites are fuming.

markowitz mentions divine bagels in brooklyn -- where, pray tell, can one find these? i'm a fresh brooklyn baby, so point me in the right direction. and don't give me that bergen bagel crap, that's for park slope wankers who don't know a bagel from wonderbread.
