Styleaholics Productions Presents possibly the best/worst idea ever. The Closet: "Overdosed on Style" provides a dual platform-uniting independent fashion designers and underground DJs. According to the press release The Closet makes the shopping experience an event to be remembered. It is structured so that designers are able to display and sell their pieces in a fun and interactive environment filled with fashion-conscious shoppers who are always looking for new and innovative items. Where else would such an extravaganza take place but Crobar [530 West 28th Street between 10th and 11th Avenues]. Tonight from 7 - 10 pm [happy hour from 7 to 8pm]. Just one question, when we wake up hungover, where do we make the returns?

MUSIC: We checked out Crash Mansion last weekend and, well, from what we experienced it was like the Bait Shop, if the Bait Shop were in Jersey. Anyway, if that's your scene then head over there to hear the highly anticipated new Queens of the Stone Age album tonight. There will be a one hour open bar. And after that $100 bottles of Triple 888 Vodka (which, we have to say, is the ONLY vodka we can drink. For real. That's why we had it at the first Movable Hype show), and $2 PBR's (bucket of 7 for $10). Oh, there are also bands playing, lots more info here. Crash Mansion is located at 199 Bowery at Spring St.

COMEDY: Every week the best sketch comedy writer/performers of Juvie Hall watch the previous night's broadcasted Saturday Night Live and meet the next day at 1pm. Over the next seven hours they brainstorm, write, rehearse, and perform a 90 minute original sketch comedy show that spawned from the seed of that episode of SNL. Even if the episode was a repeat that night, it gets the Rewritten touch blended with current events and humor.
