Tournament Begins, Productivity Dips

Well folks, the NCAA Tournament just began and Gothamist thinks productivity has dropped a notch around our offices. Right now, we've got three scoreboards up and running (ESPN, Sportsline, Yahoo) and they're all updating live, live, live!! Click on over if you want to see how your brackets are doing. Right now, it seems like Alabama is trailing Wisconsin-Milwaukee by 12 points. Lucky for us, we didn't pick Alabama to go very far, especially since a 5 seed always seems to lose to a 12.

Locally, the FDU Knights take on Illinois tonight at 9:40. They are the only local team in the New York area, but The Times says New York is well represented, at least player wise.

Oh, how we wish we had a TV right now.

I liked how in the Times article, one of the coaches said NY players have to dodge things and run to things (like the subway) all the time.
