What, so you're going to be in Austin, with tons of new bands to listen to, and we're still going to have to read about all the tired old New York bands you always crow about? Gag me.

Expect to see a lot of "Don't mess with Texas" signs as you drive along the major highways, it's a registered trademark with the state of Texas...wonder if they are getting any $$ from Urban Outfitters.

Definitely check out Mobius Band ( http://www.mobiusband.com ), straight outta nyc. Friday at 1pm at Urban Outfitters or Saturday at the Ghostly International Showcase at Copa Bar. They're amazing live.
