I truly believe that He gave you the opportunity to escape, that brought you here even if the road you traveled was difficult, that protected your family and blessed with you a beautiful wife and two beautiful children. This is an important example of the kind of content that's pushed off the spectrum in mainstream news. Thanks for including a dose of first hand truth, what newspapers were made of in the beginning. There are many more such stories, here's hoping Gothamist will be one of the first to provide space for true-life narratives like this one.
