for what it's worth, i went to ici in fort greene on saturday and had a terrible meal. tasteless wine, and waited forever for entries that had key components that were far from hot. the people are very nice, the vibe is very chill, but i'm not going back.

I guess this would be for maybe those midrange items... I do get my pants hems for $10 near me as well. Or maybe this guide is mainly for Lower East Side hipsters - I haven't read the whole thing!

12 bucks for a pants hem? There are couple of places that do it for $10 on 96th b/w Amsterdam & Colulmbus.
