The city is no longer awash in saffron, but we promise there is still a lot to do this weekend...
COMEDY: The "Dark Side of the Moon" Show: Buy, Beg, Borrow or Steal starts tonight at the UCB Theater. This totally psychadelic and surreal theater experience pokes fun at the popular rumor that The Wizard of OZ syncs up perfectly with Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon (it DOES. Instructions: wait for the 3rd lion roar before the movie starts to hit start the cd. Then smoke lots of pot and prepare to have your mind blown.) The play itself is about real estate brokers and it just happens to also sync up perfectly with Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon. Whoa. It's Glengarry Glenn Ross, meets The Wizard of OZ, meets you, at age 17, getting high in your parents basement. So grab your bong and head over to UCB.
