Do you remember the Atlantic Avenue Station plot from 1997? That came a lot closer to realization than this Grand Central thing: http://www.emergency.com/ternyc97.htm Let's not forget WTC '93. Or the various bombing targets (bridges, tunnels, etc.) that put Omar Abdel-Rahman in jail. Really, this has been going on for a while, and "the madness" will probably only end the mass murder of hundreds of innocent Americans is no longer thought of as a reasonable goal, but is made "unthinkable" in the sense that it's an idea that is never thought. Probably, we're not going to live long enough to see that day. It's one of those things we can hope for our grandkids, though.</p>
