Thank you, Offbalance -- I was going to make the same point about their not shooting in NYC (and now, I have.) Of course, neither "Friends" nor "Seinfeld" shot in NYC -- but "Friends"' appeal was that it could have taken place anywhere, and Seinfeld is an illustration of the adage that you can take the people out of the city, but you can't take the city out of the people.

It's that damn blue filter they use for all shots. Like CSI Miami and the orange filter that makes is look like it's always 115'C. I am sure there are people in the south, in red states, getting S.A.D. because of watching the show and that damn blue filter. G.

Perhaps the problem is the fact that they don't have new york writers/location/etc, and therefore the tone of the show is completely wrong?
