Yet Another RNC Protester Sues the City

A woman who dressed up as a Humvee during last year's protests at the Republican National Convention has sued the city, saying she was unlawfully arrested. Lady, get in line! Georgi Page was standing in front of a midtown Humvee dealership by herself;. She was the only one to show up to a Humvee protest, but there were 12 cops there; she claims that the she told that she was obstructing traffic, and then police ripped off her costume and arrested her. Later, Page's record was voided, but the NYCLU is using her case as an example of the police "illegal no-tolerance" policy during the convention. The NY Post is glad Page is suing the city because then they can use the words "Hummer gal."

Man, the RNC seems so long ago.
