Fair Weather for Idiotarod

Mild today, maybe some showers in the afternoon, with highs in the mid-70s. Oh, crap, this isn't Key Westist. Sigh.

Our wind chill and well-below normal temperatures are coming to an end. The winds should die down late this afternoon, making the cold air more bearable. The cold air will stick around until tomorrow morning. Oh, it's not going to be warm, tomorrow's high will only be around freezing, but it will feel warm. Expect the skies to be partly cloudy and the temperature a balmy 30 degrees at the start of the Idiotarod tomorrow afternoon. Gothamist is guessing the weather at the end of the race will not be important to the participants.

We should have close to normal temperatures by Sunday, and that normalcy looks to continue for the next week.
