Wonderfalls At The Museum of TV & Radio

Gothamist likes to watch TV a lot-- sometimes hours go by before we notice the sun has set. And there's no better place to get a fix than the Museum of Television and Radio -- where thanks to that dot org suffix, you can watch TV, but assure yourself you're still being cultural.
On Jan. 29 and 30, the Museum will present a marathon of Wonderfalls, that short-lived Fox series from last fall that was cancelled after only four episodes-barely enough time to form an opinion. To refresh: set in Niagara Falls, an underachieving Brown graduate finds herself talking to inanimate objects in a local gift shop. Way quirky!
The Museum schedule includes nine episodes that never aired. Gothamist remembers mourning "Freaks & Geeks" in the same way some years ago: Saturday, January 29 from 12:30 to 5:30 p.m.: Episodes 1 through 7; Sunday, January 30 from12:30 to 4:45 p.m.: Episodes 8 through 14. The DVD collection will follow in February. And here's the devoted Save Wonderfalls site.

When the promos for Wonderfalls were airing, I didn't think much of it. Then I caught the last episode of Wonderfalls and enjoyed it enough to look forward to watching it the following week... so of course Fox went ahead and cancelled it. Now if only the MTR would host a marathon of Jeremy Piven's "Cupid".
