It can be called either Ice Cider or Apple Ice Wine - either term is correct.

I'm not a big fan of ice wine either; I was a confirmed Yquem girl. The last time I was there Artisanal had a selection of ice wines, but that was a while ago.

Thanks for the tip Sam, anybody who is not a friend of ice wine - is no friend of ours. Also if you are a fan of ice wine and willing to experiment a little, you should try the Snow White Martini. It's made with Vodka, apple ice wine and garnished with a frozen lychee. Mmmm....

Ice wines are great, but DONT go to 67 Wine if you want to try them! I got completely chewed out a few weeks ago when I asked where their ice wines were. The guy I asked went off on a long diatribe against ice wines ("I don't know why anyone would be stupid enough to drink them", etc.) before finally consenting to tell me where they were in the store. So if you want to try them, find somewhere else to go...
