Gothamist: Glove Love

While I was thrilled with them when I was using them, somehow I got a small cut in one of the fingers of the gloves. Now the inside of the gloves smell like musty water or something disgusting. I have washed them twice even dried them outside in the sun and can't get the smell out. I don't know why the other glove w/ no cut smells but it does also!

Damn...dose are dem coolest gloves I'd ever did see...Blue's an awesome color...why wouldanyone want another color, especially if tey have to pay more money...ridiculous! In Russia, the gloves wear you atrse.

Oh boy. I was soooo thinking about my set it and forget it gloves when I read this post. I am obsessed with dishwashing gloves...you are adding to my pain. Casabella makes a nifty pair in hot pink-not nearly as thick/heat resistant though.

Oh, yeah? I got a pair like that in white for free when I bought that great "set it and forget it" rotisserie over a year ago and I can grab really hot metal and not feel a thing AND wash things too.

Hey Allison, You shouldn't knock these till you've tried them. I have a pair and I LOVE them. I use them mostly in the studio. the thick lining is essential, to protect my delicate little hands from the horrible art that I create.

I love these! My tap runs hot enough to scald, so they're practically essential in my kitchen. You can pick 'em up at Bed Bath & Beyond, too.

I have to say that I love my True Blues. SOOOOO much better than your regular yellow rubber gloves. Here's why: 1) Your hands don't get sweaty/clammy in these, because of the cotton lining. 2) They are machine washable. 3) They don't cost that much more than the regular yellow rubber gloves, yet last so much longer and won't get holes in them nearly as easily. 4) Even though they are "thick", they still have a good "grab" to them, so that you don't drop and break plates/glasses. 5) Latex free, which is great for those with latex allergies.

im loyal to the traditonal yellow besides... these look to thick to be able to feel anything thu... if your gunna throw the word "fetish" around and to be realistic, i think i woul dbreak something with a glove so clutzy looking. yellow. medium. platex. pure. -A

These are awesome! They totally rock, and last forever, so it is money well spent.
