The 2005 Bloggies

It's that time of year again - time when Gothamist realizes there are just five more days to vote for nominees for the 2005 Bloggies. This is a great time to acknowledge the weblogs that keep you laughing, hungry, curious, and informed. In fact, there are new categories for best entertainment weblog, best food weblog, and best writing of a weblog (best music weblog is gone but can be noted through the best entertainment one; also, best programming and best weblog directory are gone ). Next year, we hope to see "best weblog about a pet" or "best weblog about nothing." Please be sure to read the rules before nominating - you want to make sure your ballot counts!

Of course, we'll take this time to note that Gothamist can be nominated for a number of categories, as well as our other sites: Chicagoist, DCist, LAist, Londonist, SFist, and Torontoist.
