Fireman Hunks For the New Year

2004_12_calendarfdny.jpg

If you're looking for a way to add zing to the new year, Gothamist suggests you keep in mind the 2005 Calendar of Heroes from the Fire Department of NY. What is better than twelve month's of New York's Bravest Beefcake, especially with backdrops like Coney Island and the bridgework under the 125th Street subway station in Harlem...okay, fine, we're not kidding anyone - no one is really looking at the backgrounds. But who doesn't need an offline way to know what day it is? And the proceeds from the calendar go to a great cause: The Fire Safety Education Fund.

The calendar is $14.99 at FDNY Firezone. Gothamist on the 2005 calendar and of course we had something to say about the 2004 edition.
