<description>&lt;p&gt;I made these, and they taste great, but they way overflowed the pans all over my cookie sheet, and I made four cakes rather than three.  I&apos;d say this recipe would make at least 5 small cakes of the size you specified.  Next time I&apos;ll try one large loaf. 

Thanks though, should be a good holiday gift (despite the messy appearance)!&lt;/p&gt;</description>

<description>&lt;p&gt;I made the recipe this past weekend and it turned out fantastic. I was able to make 4 medium sized loaves. I have already given a couple away as host gifts and I market them as &quot;brownies&quot; because of its chewy quality and rich chocolate flavour punctuated by the ginger.
Thanks for providing me with a new holiday standard.
