Nice plug for Broken Social Scene. If you haven't seen them, do. They're awesome, original, Canadian and cool--it's about time Gothamist noticed them! But we're lucky, in Toronto you can still catch them playing for free at random outdoor venues....

K23, I see you're continuing blogging's long tradition of omitting your email address or URL when flaming on people. How nice. But I'll say this on your behalf: You're absolutely right, we should give credit only to the true innovators. That's why next week's post will be a tribute to Muddy Waters, Robert Johnson, Howlin' Wolf and Sonny Boy Williamson. I'm sure they're all a part of your album collection.

It's cool to be ironic, didn't you know? But I guess you've been hanging out in malls too much as you appreciate the mediocrity of the Slope. Nevertheless, I do indeed have fun ripping apart average people such as yourself. But I guess I'm the bigot for appreciating good music and eclectic neighborhoods. So, K23, do you have a sense of humor at all, or does absolutely everything piss you off on a deeply personal level?
