JKidd Returns to Nets

Jason Kidd finally returned to the Nets last night, playing a limited time in his team's 88-86 win over the Toronto Raptors. In 21 minutes, Kidd had 10 points on 4-6 shooting including 2-2 from 3-point range and three assists. There were signs of rust, as Kidd turned the ball over six times.

The game winning shot came with 7.1 remaining in the game as Richard Jefferson hit a field goal and Kidd picked up the assist. Prior to Kidd's return, the Nets were a measly 4-12. Jefferson, the glue for the Nets right now, had 26 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists.

With an announced crowd of 11,227 (lots of seats disguised as fans), it doesn't seem that the Nets will be trading their most well-known player despite his off season requests to the contrary.

I'm glad Kidd is back. Now I can turn on a Nets game and see them surpass 80 points *and* I may actually stay awake through most of the game. Feeling pity isn't enough to keep the eyelids open, as it turns out.
