<p>I've lost a lot of contact with my Italian American heritage, but my mom used to shop at Arthur Avenue once a week for supplies and bring them back to Connecticut.

A few months ago I was feeling nostalgic (and hungry!) so I took a shopping trip back to Arthur Ave. While I was comforted by the food, I was amused and horrified by the proliferation of unironic pictures of Mussolini with the words (in Italian) "either you are with us or you are against us."</p>
