New Yorkers Want Giambi Out

Baseball season might be over, but it's never over when it comes to the Yankees and so it's fair game on Jason Giambi, after he admitted he used steroids. The tabloids are making their opinions heard very loudly with their covers today (for example, a Post editorial titled, "Tell This Loser, Yer Out!"). Another issue is that Giambi's testimony (during a case against drug maker Balco) was supposed to be secret - what's with the leaks? And it seems that as soon as Yankees officials found out about Giambi's confession, they were looking for ways to "kill" his contract.
