Yummy Movie Night @ Pianos

couch.jpgWith the weather like it is today, Gothamist can understand the extent of your plans for tonight consisting of food, couch and DVD. But really, you could just as easily do all that down at Pianos and then someone else will pick the movie, cook, clean up and pour you a beer. Bonus!

The inaugural bi-weekly Yummy Movie party at Pianos will feature the Prince classic, Purple Rain screened upstairs. They promise popcorn, music dj'ed by Mike B. aka Rukus Jones after the show and a $10 dinner special which includes a burger (veggie or meat) and a pint of beer. Plus, there's no cover. Doors open at 8 pm and the movie starts at 9. Does that sound like a plan, or what?

I wonder if the patrons will remove their trucker hats so people can see the movie.

55> Nice catch. That's so ironic I almost got the joke.

It was a great night. I strongly recommend going the next time around. I think it is after Xmas.
