<description>&lt;p&gt;Yes, kudos to Lane&apos;s family for creating a scholarship and safety panel as part of the settlement with ConEd -- and not just settling on a cash payment. I saw a TV interview with the father and he seems genuinely interested in making sure his daughter&apos;s death wasn&apos;t in vain and that some good comes out of this tragedy.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
