Gothamist Presents Movable Hype Tonight

For the umpteenth time, we're glad to remind you that tonight is Gothamist Presents Movable Hype. To recap:
Tonight, 8PM, at the The Knitting Factory, four bands are coming together to play: The Fresh, The Sons of Sound, Snowden, and Asobi Seksu. Plus, Tarts of Pleasure is deejaying between sets. There are $2 drink specials from Triple 8 Vodka, some Gothamist t-shirts to be given away, and Gothamist will be donating our proceeds to a NYC public school program from DonorsChoose.org.
And for those of you who do a free drink, Gothamist will be shelling out for some free drinks, Happy Hour style, for as long as our money holds out.
Check out some music from the bands:
- Asobi Seksu on iTunes
- Snowden on iTunes
- The Sons of Sound's music page
- And The Fresh's music can be found on the left column of their site.
See you tonight!

I'll probably be there, but a bit late. Hope things aren't looking like a sellout?
Well, I hope they are rather, but preferably not before 9 or so.
i am so there.
You have great ears. I came tonight to see Asosbi Seksu but was happy to hear that the other bands were good too. Don't wait until next year, have a party every month.
Best freakin show Ihave been too in a long time. Well Done! The Fresh is THE Man and Snowden tore the place up or down or whatever....
