did the cops really stop the show? seemed like the cops were more amused than anything else, and the whole thing appeared to naturally run its course. in many of the photos the cops seem to be enjoying themselves as much as everyone else. maybe Chengwin should have been in charge of organizing the RNC protests.
yea. at first they let it run its course, then this one guy that looked like Luigi drove through the middle of the crowd and proceeded to be captain hardass and shut the show down...pretty good overall, seeing as how the non-permitted parade shut down houston, broadway, spring and then lafayette
