Your Tuesday Night Plans: Movable Hype

It would be irresponsible of us not to mention our first concert event, Gothamist presents Movable Hype at the The Knitting Factory on Tuesday, November 16. Gothamist Arts & Events has put together a fabulous evening of music, with The Fresh, The Sons of Sound, Snowden, and Asobi Seksu, with Tarts of Pleasure deejaying between sets. Plus, there are $2 drink specials from Triple 8 Vodka and we'll be raffling off some Gothamist t-shirts (and if you don't win, we'll also being selling them, too, with help from tiny factory). We hope to see you there!

Show starts at 8PM. Tickets are $10 in advance (you can buy them at the Knitting Factory or via Ticketweb) and $12 day of show. All of Gothamist's proceeds will go towards funding a NYC public school program found on Donors Choose.

Here's a preview of Movable Hype. Plus, check out Gothamist Arts & Events' Sets and the City interviews with Asobi Seksu, The Fresh, Snowden, and The Sons of Sound's Dennis Cahlo.

The design of the flyer is terrible!

This event is for a good cause...it's for the KIDS. I think people who have nasty comments should keep them to themselves. Hey, "A", are you a graphic designer yourself? Why don't you show us what kind of flyer YOU can produce? Better yet, show us what kind of WEBSITE you can produce! Didn't your mama teach you any manners? If you don't have something nice to say, keep it to yourself. Geez.
