As mentioned earlier, Gothamist is presenting a show at the Knitting Factory, Movable Hype, on Tuesday, November 16. Our Arts & Events teams have put together a fabulous lineup: Asobi Seksu, Snowden, Sons of Sound, The Fresh, and DJs Tarts of Pleasure. Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 at the door (for more info; or just buy tickets). There are also $2 drink specials all night thanks to sponsor Triple 8 Vodka. It should be a great night of music and mingling, plus some special surprises, so we hope to see you there.

And Gothamist will be donating all of the proceeds to a music program that benefits a NYC public school; we'll be selecting the program through DonorsChoose.org, the website that allows you help fund programs of all different kinds (arts, science, sports, etc.) at public schools across the country.
