Art Pick of the Weekend

Usually the idea of buying art (or anything for that matter) in SoHo makes our wallets hurt. This weekend however there will be art available in that fancy zip code, for the masses! Artists Space is going to be holding their Night of 1000 Drawings Benefit on Saturday (which runs from 3 to 8pm).

Artists Space puts out a call to local artists every year for this event. The drawings are hung unmarked and sold from $30-50. There isn't even a fee to get in (although they suggest giving $5, so loosen the purse strings - it is a benefit after all).
