Election Night @ UCB

2004_11_artspaulscheer.jpgTonight Gothamist doesn't suggest being alone on couch clutching your your bus fare to Canada and copy of Jon Stewart's book America: A Citizen's Guide to Democracy Inaction. No, we suggest that every other night, but not tonight. Because tonight, we want you to surround yourself with friends and strangers and throw things at the tv together.

And what if you had really, really funny friends...wouldn't that be better than your regular friends who are only sometimes quick with a witty observation? We don't want to beat around the bush (no pun intended) so we'll just come right out and say that you should get over to the UCB Theater for the UCB Election Night Party. It's free and hosted by Inconsiderate Cell Phone Guy Rob Huebel and Best Week Ever's Paul Scheer.

Other funny people that will be there include Aziz Ansari, the UCB Harold Teams, Mother, Respecto, and The Swarm.

It's going to be a long night, so you might as well start it off right (left?) and get there early to catch one of the last showings of George Bush is a Motherfucker...it's $5 and starts at 8pm. Watch the video here.

Now get out there and vote! (If you haven't already).
