Wisconsin's win was impressive, considering: a. we hadn't beaten Northwestern since 1999 b. we were up 24-0 on them by mid q3 c. 3 defensive starters were out I'll take it.

As a lifelong Syracuse University fan and a graduate student at the University at Buffalo, it is disconcerting to me that there are no northeatern colleges near the top of any polls. It appears that the Northeast (New York State in particular) does not have the high school football talent that it once had.
