Hi Janine, I never saw all the comments that were deleted regarding VIDEO JERK but I'd like to put in my 2 cents about Video Free Brooklyn. I've been going there for almost a year now and the clerks there have treated me with nothing but respect, courtesy and good humor. I don't know if the disgruntled customer just caught the employee on a bad day or what. It certainly is not the norm for me or my friends and neighbors that frequent this neighborhood favorite. In fact it was bad service that drove me from my old store & lead me to discover this place. It's unfortunate that you've deleted other comments from the posting. Is there anyway you would reinstate the comments (and add ours to them)? Without them, you present a very biased and perhaps inaccurate picture of this great store, which I will continue to patronize.

Dear Janine, Thank you for deleting all comments on the "Video Jerks" piece including many comments made by people who frequent Video Free Brooklyn and some who know the staff there and can give another perspective on the piece. You threw the baby out with the bathwater and really made this one customer's dramatic complaint more valid than it is. Thanks for the hyperbolic claims!

I live in a building in DUMBO that is not served by cable. I can believe there are many places not served by the decaying infrastructure of this town. In other news the two major satellite providers offer superior service and cheaper prices.

Try broadbandreports.com for internet service. Earthlink and Speakeasy have always been the highest rated.
