Next, The Four Horsemen

For the past couple of hours, Gothamist was attempting an all-media blackout for a while. But it's unavoiadable. So we've taken to contemplating this apt Daily News take on the situation and wondering how long we will be in Bizarro World. But, to all you Red Sox fans out there, we just say, "Enjoy," as we're sure the bitter and crazy Yankees fans will chant "1918" and "1986" as they go to sleep.

Our coverage of the ALCS win and the baseball season. And Mayor Bloomberg, it's time to send the goods.

Or if they were able to grow some balls.

  • Dirk

I think the Yankees could have won if they were allowed to grow their hair long or have beards.

2 Blocks from Fenway? Did you just wake up after the Party Last night??

    ;)

  • Hilton

OK, granted, I live 2 blocks from Fenway, and all I can tell you is there's no fan like a Red Sox fan. This is the year, my friends, this is the year...

    Let's go Mets!

  • S.D.

Well, At least it made history: No one's ever come back from a 3 game loss before...

*IF* they win the World Series, Boston will be the place to be that night!

As it is, I'll return to work a little Humble. Lots of Red Sox's fans in my work place!!!

  • Kristen

    I am bereft. Simply bereft.

    Go Houston!!!

You can include me in the Sox fan crowd. And when I saw Pedro come in the game last night (for whatever reason that was), and gave up 2 quck runs. I had that cold sweat, and the sense of insane pending irony from game 7 last year, but then he unleashed a 95mph fastball and that brief feeling of horror disappeared.

I don't gloat. The Yankees have had better teams and pulled off an impressive season even with their sub-yankee-level pitching staff. It pains me to know that heads are going to roll a la Steinbrenner when they still produced an excellent run.

Now, I'd love to see Houston clinch tonight so we can get Clemens pitching at Fenway.

THis is unbelievable. Never in my lifetime (24) have the Sox beaten the Yankees in the playoffs and never have the classic Sox teams beat them. To go from 3-0 to choking so hard, the worst choke in HISTORY must be debilitating. And what about the curse of the A-Rod? Every team he gets on is mediocre until he leaves. Seattle. Texas. And now the Yankees.

    World Series tickets=$200

    T pass to Fenway=$1.50

Watching the Sox fans at Yankee Stadium chanting "Who's YOUR Daddy!"=priceless.
