Gothamist: Kim's Video Closes Its "Mean" Location

How funny. I just have to post something here. I used to work at this Kim's about 9 years ago. I was just doing an online search for the address to use it as a reference for a job that requires 10 years of employment history. Maybe i should just paste this article. Anyway, i live in Portland, Oregon now and as far as video stores go, Portland has one of the best i've seen in Movie Madness. Minus the mean employess i guess.

I have a critieria for video stores: if there aren't separate sections for films from Hong Kong, Taiwan, and China, I refuse to become a member. 2 Boots doesn't pass the test.

Guess the Times missed the original St. Marks Kims (upstairs one flight, on the corner of 2nd Ave IIRC). Now they were MEAN!
