Sigh. New York City Tap water is king. It comes from Upstate New York. How the heck can the age of the city and its environmental reprecussions affect water that does not come anywhere near it.

Out of Towners, there is no glass of water from the Tap that is better the new york city. I don't know what is this funky taste you describe? I believe you mean clean and tasty.

Finally the truth comes out about NYC tap water!!!

I never believed it for a second-- had been told since I moved here about the water being so great-- that the funky taste was due to the old pipes--

Face it- you can't live in a city as old as NYC without dealing with environmental repercussions-- messed up water being one of them.
