The New York Liberty defeated the Detroit Shock last night in WNBA action to move onto the Eastern Conference Finals. The 66-44 win came on a last second shot by Bethany Donaphin that gave the Liberty a 2-1 series victory. The Liberty await the winner of tonight's Washington Mystic and Connecticut Sun game.
Becky Hammon led the Liberty with 20 points and went 4 of 11 on 3-point shots, and one crucial assist to Donaphin on the winning shot. The game was played in front of a crowd of 9,785, not exactly a sell-out crowd at Madison Square Garden.

The WBNA? Seriously?
haha, yeah. well, it's sports news and i'm trying to be evenhanded. and it's the playoffs.
besides, writing about the same thing day in and day out can be tiring.
Last second shot to win 66-44? Even with 22-pointers, I don't know if I could watch WNBA basketball. Blah-blah-beauty of the game--blah--blah--passing..blah.
