Gothamist Migration!!!

As we mentioned last week, Gothamist is moving to a new home on a brand spanking new server. Compared to our current hosting environment, it's like moving from living inside a dumpster to a studio in Park Slope. Or something. Anyway, the move will be completed by Monday morning, but here are two things to keep in mind:

1. All the Gothamist sections are moving to the front page. You will still be able to get separate RSS feeds for each section (including Jen Chung's Gothamist posts), and you will still be able to read them on section pages. Until we straighten out our archives, the categories will be hopelessly mixed up- we will be working on that this weekend.

2. Changing servers is never easy, but we have set up the migration in a way that is intended to minimize outages. Some of you may have noticed the site responding oddly over the last few days- and it might still have some little errors here and there. That's mainly from the prep work we've been doing- if it persists, try clearing your browser cache and reloading the site.

Thank you for your patience and support!

how do I find that webfeed of just Jen's posts? (no disrespect to the rest of the Gothamist writers...)

we're going to be posting the RSS/webpage for each category on Monday- but for now you can find her posts off the link on the staff page.
