Saturday's NY Post reports that the SJP dinner price is $7.1K, but I saw online that it's now over $15,000. I was going to go up to 20K, but it now looks like it will be over that amount. Personally, I disagree with Jen that it's a great idea. Couldn't I spend that kind of money on the women of Gothamist, to keep them in sushi?

I've been noticing lately the number of charity food events that take place in multiple cities, but only on the coasts. I guess no one who lives more than a mile from the coast ever eats.

umm, didn't we try this with the Softball league? did we every have the outing? A few years ago at Gramercy Tavern, I effectively had dinner with SJP and MB in the tavern part. They seemed very nice and laid back.

For what it's worth, an acquaintance of mine works at a store where she's been shopping a lot recently. He says she's very nice and quite charming in person.

Gothamist needs to pool together and big on this. If Gothamist wins, the people "donating" the most money get to go to the dinner.
