<description>&lt;p&gt;To top it off we received the Bridal Shower invitations exactly one week before the shower - for a Friday night event.  There was another registry card enclosed but there was also a handwritten note reminding us of the other store were they registered.



Uniformly, without consulting each other, my friends and I all declined the invitation.  Enough of this nonsense!



Doug - thanks for the advice.  I&apos;m letting the boyfriend handle the present.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
