Bill Rancic - Trump in Training

With the new season of The Apprentice just around the corner (in fact it premieres this Thursday), Bill Rancic is still enjoying his (last few) moments in the spotlight.

Today at lunchtime (1pm to be exact) he will be signing copies of his new book, You're Hired at the Borders near Wall Street (100 Broadway at Pine St). Described as a practical step-by-step guide to climbing the success ladder from first job to the boardroom, we bet the latest contestants on the show all got advanced copies.

Another show that we got hooked on that ended last week was The Assistant. In this MTV series, Andy Dick poked fun at Trump's show by torturing 12 contestants looking for a future in "Hollyweird." You'll have to watch the re-runs or checkout the website for the winner, who walked away with a new cell phone, a new wardrobe, a new car, and a job at MTV. What happened to going through HR?
