State of the Union

Does the exodus of the RNC leave you feeling abandoned and used? Did the week's speeches leave you feeling frustrated and angry? Was it all just too... heavy?

You can nurse your political hangover at State of the Union, an evening of left-leaning comedy, presented by Mother Jones. Todd Barry, Will Durst, Janeane Garofalo, Eugene Mirman, Ward Sutton and Lizz Winstead - unafraid to be called the "L" word - present their state-swinging rebuttals to the public this Saturday, September 4 at Town Hall.

Tickets, starting at $35, aren't exactly cheap, but proceeds benefit independent media outlets. Besides, if you have anything left in your pocketbook after bailing your protestor friends out of jail this week, this comedy ticket could very well be salve for your political burns.
