This is a disgrace, and the only thing that's keeping New Yorkers' hopes alive is the idea of George Steinbrenner freaking out like never before. Of course, every other baseball fan is probably thrilling about this, but from our perspective, it's now September, there's no way the Mets are making the playoffs, so you've got to do your job, Yankees.
