There are tons of cultural events going on this week as a response to the convention, such as this past weekend's Margaret Cho performances at the Apollo, the giant red megaphone at 60 Centre Street here all this week, or the Thalia Follies revue at Symphony Space every night of the convention. Check out what the Imagine Festival has planned for tonight, and we must tip our hats to tomorrow's panel discussion on The State of Blogs and Politics at P.S. 122. Jeff Jarvis is moderating, with John Aravosis, John Perry Barlow, Cam Barrett, Douglas Rushkoff, Julian Sanchez and yours truly. For tickets, go to TicketWeb. It'd be great if you showed up, especially since the Knitting Factory event (Michael Moore presenting Spearhead and Nightwatchmen) is sold out.
Other interesting events: Tomorrow's round-the-clock-till-it's-done reading of the Odyssey and the Iliad; Wednesday's reading of the Constitution with Alec Baldwin, Chuck Close, Khaliah Ali, and Joanne Woodward. And let us know what events you're checking out!

We've also gotten a last-minute addition to the panel -- Jay Rosen from http://www.pressthink.org

where is the constitution reading thing happening? is there a link?
The Constitution is an amazingly well written document. (ok, the 2nd Ammendment certainly could be written better...)
Where will it be read? Will there be discussion as well?
