Sometimes You Can Only Find Out Through Flyers...

Gothamist keeps seeing these flyers around our neighborhood, so we wanted to pass on the information to you. This photo was taken for you, the reader, at around 2am this morning...

What better way to prepare yourself for the onslaught of Republicans than to go see Fahrenheit 9/11. Educate yourself, re-educate yourself, get pissed off, inform others. So if you've seen it, if you haven't seen it...go see it tonight at the
M'Finda Kalunga Community Garden.

Want to know more about what Gothamist had to say about Fahrenheit when it came out in theaters? Go here.

Want to know more about this garden? Check out New York Songlines, a great site that deconstructs NY history block by block. About the garden, it tells us:

This community garden, whose name means "Garden at the Edge of the Other Side of the World" in the Kicongo language, commemorates the nearby site of the African Burial Ground.

If you see a flyer for an event let us know! Sometimes the best things can be found taped onto mailboxes and poles.
