Ugh god, I work as a hotel concierge on w58th and I send guests to RUE 57 for lunch & dinner EVERY SINGLE DAY. They're one of my local favorites... er, WERE one of my favorites. This just threw my world out of whack.

now the hipster vs. con-ed doesn't look quite as frivolous by comparison. yes, it's gross. sue the resto, maybe. but sue the poor sap who just lost his fingertip? that seems a little cruel. i mean, yeah, you got grossed out. he lost a digit, for chrissakes

...or they could start marketing a specialty line of finger sandwiches. (Sorry, couldn't resist.) Though, I am a little concerned about the working conditions of a restaurant that doesn't allow its maimed workers the opportunity (or care enough to let them) find their missing digits.
