They could always do it "Roger Rabbit" style with Superman animated and everybody else live. Maybe even get Jerry Seinfeld to play Jimmy Olson.

"Why not just use the guy from the tv show?" Maybe because he's a shitty actor with no charisma or screen presence. Though the ladies seem to like him quite a bit. Actually, I heard that Bryan Singer did in fact want Tom Welling for the role. Personally, I can barely endure watching him for free; no way will I be paying to see him in a Superman movie. I'd even take Affleck over him! Well, OK, judging from Daredevil, maybe not, but at least Ben has got some goofy charm at times.

For many, Christopher Reeve will always be Superman. So rather than go with the same premise, why not make it a comedey such as Superman: The Later Years. It could star Bruce Willis in the title role or maybe Jim Carey.
