Six Feet Under recap

Remember that bonfire the Fishers had a while ago, well...it seems some things are starting to rise from it. We won't call it a Phoenix exactly, but the smoke is clearing.

Before we get to the revelations, we'd like to welcome back Billy. Finally!

Billy is subbing for Claire's art teacher indefinitely. He hasn't spoke to Brenda in a year and he seems to be full of enlightened wisdom he'll surely be dishing out to Claire and the class at will.

Claire has finally achieved the big O. Not from Edie however (who isn't talking to her, but is dishing out details about her at open mic. note from Gothamist: do not date performance artists!). No, the big O is from none other than cute art student boy Jimmy. He has apparently mastered something called "grinding the corn". A mythical move, we're sure.

Keith and David...we are getting so sick of this back and forth thing. Are we sleeping with other people? Are we not sleeping with other people? These things need to be figured out immediately. David can't be so scared to leave Keith and Keith, like, needs to figure out if he likes girls.

Nate and Brenda like each other again! He'll be moved into her house (that Joe has apparently left to her) by next week, we guarantee it. We can't say it'll be all smooth from here on out but it looks good for these three (Brenda, Nate and Mya)...Billy will stop by eventually though.

George had a minor breakdown that stems, apparently, through years and years of mistakes. Second thoughts on his marriage to Ruth or realizing his current mistakes and need to change? It's hard to tell.

Ruth and Bettina have high tailed it all the way to Mexico and have downed more tequila shots in a hot tub than we ever could. The last we see of Ruth is on a beach, riding horseback, when her horse collapses. The guide shoots the horse and Ruth decides it's time to go home. We're sure this is, like, symbolic or something.

Dream sequences also were also dripped throughout last nights episode. The typical Fisher dream sequences involving Nathanial, the ever-present deceased father (who Claire foreshadows being less present in her doll house project.)

With three episodes left Gothamist is really hoping the next season isn't too far off in the distance. Last time we had to wait 9 months!

Anyone have some ideas on how they're going to end the season? They are hinting at big changes for the Fishers...
