Didn't it seem a bit tawdry that Daisy May's relied on Hooteresque marketing tactics to bring in the bacon? IMDHO, none of the ribs at this fest were that good. Philly smokehouse is the only place I hadn't been to before, and I should have known better, what with a menu that had "Outlaw Onion Rings" on it. Biscuit in Brooklyn is still the best in NYC. Where was Blue Smoke?

I will admit, the ladies in the short-shorts disturbed me a bit as well, but I truly enjoy Daisy May's ribs, and that's what drew me in. The great part about BBQ is that there area so many variations that each of us can find some ribs that'll suit our own personal preference, whether it's Biscuit, Blue Smoke, Daisy May's or elsewhere!

I agree with the feminazi on almost every point. I didn't think Philly's pulled pork was that bad, but Blue Smoke was conspicuously absent. Hooters girls were tacky, particularly at that very non-glam event. (other photos)
